New track starting in the fall semester 2017/18: Competition and Regulation Economics

As of the fall semester 2017/18, students in the specialization phase of their program can choose to study the new Competition and Regulation Economics track. Further information can be found in the program description.

Deutschland Scholarship: Application is now open

The Deutschland Scholarship supports students by giving them €300 per month, of which €150 is contributed by the government. The other half is raised by the university through private sponsors such as companies, foundations and private individuals. In 2016, 179 Deutschland Scholarships are expected to be awarded.

The selection procedure for the 2016 Deutschland Scholarships starts in April 2016. Students of the master’s program in Economics can apply until April 30, 2016. For more information, click here.



Career Fair 2016

The Career Fair is a well-established and very successful event where students, graduates, and young professionals from the University of Mannheim can connect with renowned international companies and top medium-sized enterprises.


The Career Fair takes place between April 19 and 21, and is a great opportunity…

  • for students and business representatives to meet in person,
  • for recruiters to hold interviews with individuals and identify promising talent,
  • to give, and listen to, presentations,
  • to display, and view, job vacancies on the JobWall, which is updated each day,
