CDSE student Jan Sebastian Nimczik has won the 2016 Econ JM Best Paper Award by Unicredit & Universities Foundation
CDSE student Jan Sebastian Nimczik has received the 2016 Econ Job Market Best Paper Award by the the Unicredit & Universities Foundation for his paper “Job Mobility Networks and Endogenous Labor Markets”. He is the third Mannheim Ph.D.-student to receive the prize in three consecutive years.
This year's competition aimed at PhD candidates and PhD graduates participating in the Economics Job Market 2017 during the American Economic Association Annual Meeting. The award is endowed with a prize money of € 2,000.
As a winner, Jan Sebastian Nimczik will have the possibility to present his paper during the annual symposium of the Spanish Economic Association in Bilbao from 15th to 17th December 2016 with the Foundation covering all travel expenses.
Jan Sebastian Nimczik's paper had only recently been honored with the Young Labour Economist Prize 2016, awarded from the European Association of Labour Economists.
